1 ½ pound of cabbage
1 apple green
2 tsp salt
1 C. water
3 Tbs. White Vinegar
1 T. Sugar
½ lb. Bacon
Fry bacon in a baking dish while
that is frying, shred cabbage, add this to the fry, Cut apples
into small chunks,(skin on OK) add this to the
bacon baking dish when bacon is crisp and cabbage is
limp, add water,salt,vinegar. Bake for one
hour to let liquid evaporate. I usually add a little
more Vinegar before serving. Sometimes more salt.
